Yesterday, conversation with Selvi makes me feel alot better. It's cheerful. When we're watching
Return of the Condor Heroes and saw
Kwee Cheng, she came out of nowhere and said, I want
Kwee Tiaw! I laughed so hard after that.
I noticed that she bought Perfectly Boyfriend #4. I read them because it doesn't cost me any money. It's a pirated manga. I'm so glad it got licensed before the scanlations has finished. Because it's such a beautiful manga, I'm glad for that. Anyway, as I noticed, the book is quite good, but we can still identify it's not a legal one, because the publishing company didn't put any official address. Only the marketing email. :/
Beby is currently in Jakarta. The choir had a performance in
STT Jakarta. She bragged about the transportation this time. Usually they take train, but this time, they take the airplane if the performance is in the island of Java. A ha ha ha.
But, their schedule is tight, so I'm not sure if she will be able to go for a shopping spree. I want a book so badly, but, I don't really have any money. My last month salary hasn't been paid yet.

My bro's 2nd tuition fee hasn't been paid and so does mine. But, my employer has signaled the processing will be finished on Friday.
As I was watching Bajay Bajuri yesterday, Mak started a new business. She rents comic to the people in the kampung. Said was reading Vampire Princess Miyu XDDD
I borrow Handsome Girl #8 and Shonen Magz Apr 05 yesterday. Wataru Yoshizumi's side notes are really interesting. Wataru is her pen name and she wrote about how Ai Yazawa commenting on her male lead. I know Ai Yazawa-sensei was in Ribon magazine at some point but it still feels weird. Wataru also has a recording album, I'm not sure wheter it is a music, comedy group, or something else.
And at another volume, she talks about foreign movies/series that she likes. Some of them are very familiar with me and I feel very related to it. She wrote something about a song called
How do you talk to an angel? by Nick Lowe. Immediately I remember the same song that was sung on the cancelled show called
The Heights by Jamie Walters. I am not sure if it was the same song anyways.
And I'm still wondering how can Marmalade Boy give so much impact on readers, especially boys? It's hard to imagine boys to read the book, although I really-really like it. What strong points that drew men to read this?
Does anyone read Coming Home? I forgot the manga-ka's name.
The discussion with Selvi made me realize that it's not just me around here (not my blogging community) who thinks some mangas are really stupid. They don't satisfy my need to get a high-quality reading material. People look at the title, the drawings, then judged the quality of the book. I search for the story.
We both dislike Mermaid Melody (Pitchi Pitchi Pitchi) thus our age, we like SailorMoon.

) Mermaid Melody's artwork is not in our preferences. The storyline is quite OK for me though, so far. Then, she said something about, even though some manga is terrible in artwork, the story is really captivating, so true, I replied.
