OMG!

I rarely write here now! Sorry!

Life isn't exciting as I have no computer with me. My minithesis project is somewhat postponed since my power supply got toasted. And I don't have the money to buy a new one

Computer is working again.

Yay, I finally got my computer back and running. Despite the fact that I haven't paid my complete tuition fee (semester and classes) and Angki's classes fee. :p

But, still, it is very dusty. I have to get it to clean it up tomorrow. Plus, I have to do some room improvement to accomodate my need as a student with alot of computer work to do.

The keyboard needs alot of cleaning now. Sobs. Very dusty. *Acchoo*

This morning, on impulse, I called Beby to go to THR. And then, the four of us went there. Me, Beby, Angki, and Akut. XD The taxi was so full, because me and Beby brought along our CPU. I'm too afraid to plug my own cables and I don't have any screwdriver left. My last one was broken to pieces. T_T

Luckily, it's only me that was fat. The others are so slim. Beby got very slim since she got her braces on. The fact is, it's hard to eat with braces. I'm glad I'm not taught into that. Besides, it's damned expensive.

It means I have 7 weeks to finish my minithesis projects. It might not seems like a lot to you, but there's nothing I can do. Thank you for the conspiracy theory, Bob!

I'll probably will post everyday, but will not have any time to reply or post to your blogs/LJ. Wismilak dua bungkus, ye?

I wonder about Fency, how are you girl?

Okay, that's it, I'm going to do other thing now.

Today so far..

07:57 18/04/05

I can't believe it! I woke up late. The client asked to cancel today's meeting yesterday, so it's okay, but, still, it's not good. I have tons of things to do today. When I woke up it's already 7:32. Damn!

And I just checked that I don't have any anti virus installed in my computer! Damned!

My wishlist:
1. More storage space (my current harddisk is 10GB!)
2. Better monitor (flat screen, 17" to 21", it's your pick)
3. A gown for July wedding. (not my wedding, email me for B-W-H XD)
4. Harry Potter latest book out in July (it's okay if it was late for a month)
5. A new rack for my books.. I asked yesterday, it's $33 or Rp 297K! Expensive!

Gosh, I'm sweating. Just had my breakfast. Tauge (bean sprouts) and buncis (?) with an omelette(sp?) and a palm of white rice and some chilis.

Retrospective

Why is that I'm not feeling like I'm as free as I used to when I first blog? Now I have friends, fans, and enemies... XD

It is my third year of blogging and I forgot my blog's birthday! ^^; It's in March or something. And since that time, I've become highly addicted to blog. Experienced b2 before wordpress. Struggle on figuring out how Blogger works at a time when I was in Pitas. Then saw the change of blogger after it was acquired by google.com WOW

Became addicted to webstandards is what kept me interested besides the anime/manga info offered by fellow blogger earlier on.

Update

I woke up this morning feeling really refreshed. I mean really refreshed. Surabaya has been known for the unbearable heat for the last few days, but last night, between my unsober night, I heard the rain pouring down.

So, it wasn't hot like usual, although I still don't use any blanket. And the air is fresher. Usually I woke up with the feeling hot all over my body and sticky, that makes me wonder because I don't sweat at all.

The water starting to go really yucky again. So, I pick up a quarter bucket of clean water from the drinking/cooking water storate to rinse up. ^_^; Aah, me and my boarding room problem.

Mum called yesterday, although I don't feel any sort of attachment to her for such a long time, I kinda missed her. Her leg is still casted.

-----------
I adore Japanese Word Processor: JWPce! I can type with QWERTY keyboards and search for a specific kanji meaning. I wish there's a free stand-alone application version of EDICT.

So what am I up to these days? Besides struggling to finish my minithesis, I also try to finish my translation job by the end of this month. And also, client from last month still needed their training, but series of training date cancelation makes me grow impatient.

What manga series I'm following now? Skip Beat by Nakamura Yoshiki, who did Tokyo Crazy Paradise and of course Furuba is still one of my favorite. Yakitate! Japan is also funny, I like it especially because Kuroyanagi-san XD

I did search for Tsuruga Ren's name meaning, kindliness, joy, and lotus. Huh? XD I never going to get this straight!

Anyways, you'll probably won't see me whore linking as I do in the past, so go to my public bookmark. Oh, no, not PeterPan in the library again!
Currently listening to: PeterPan album in Library's sound system
Currently feeling: great

Yesterday's Reflection

Yesterday, conversation with Selvi makes me feel alot better. It's cheerful. When we're watching Return of the Condor Heroes and saw Kwee Cheng, she came out of nowhere and said, I want Kwee Tiaw! I laughed so hard after that.

I noticed that she bought Perfectly Boyfriend #4. I read them because it doesn't cost me any money. It's a pirated manga. I'm so glad it got licensed before the scanlations has finished. Because it's such a beautiful manga, I'm glad for that. Anyway, as I noticed, the book is quite good, but we can still identify it's not a legal one, because the publishing company didn't put any official address. Only the marketing email. :/

Beby is currently in Jakarta. The choir had a performance in STT Jakarta. She bragged about the transportation this time. Usually they take train, but this time, they take the airplane if the performance is in the island of Java. A ha ha ha.

But, their schedule is tight, so I'm not sure if she will be able to go for a shopping spree. I want a book so badly, but, I don't really have any money. My last month salary hasn't been paid yet. My bro's 2nd tuition fee hasn't been paid and so does mine. But, my employer has signaled the processing will be finished on Friday.

As I was watching Bajay Bajuri yesterday, Mak started a new business. She rents comic to the people in the kampung. Said was reading Vampire Princess Miyu XDDD

I borrow Handsome Girl #8 and Shonen Magz Apr 05 yesterday. Wataru Yoshizumi's side notes are really interesting. Wataru is her pen name and she wrote about how Ai Yazawa commenting on her male lead. I know Ai Yazawa-sensei was in Ribon magazine at some point but it still feels weird. Wataru also has a recording album, I'm not sure wheter it is a music, comedy group, or something else.

And at another volume, she talks about foreign movies/series that she likes. Some of them are very familiar with me and I feel very related to it. She wrote something about a song called How do you talk to an angel? by Nick Lowe. Immediately I remember the same song that was sung on the cancelled show called The Heights by Jamie Walters. I am not sure if it was the same song anyways.

And I'm still wondering how can Marmalade Boy give so much impact on readers, especially boys? It's hard to imagine boys to read the book, although I really-really like it. What strong points that drew men to read this?

Does anyone read Coming Home? I forgot the manga-ka's name.

The discussion with Selvi made me realize that it's not just me around here (not my blogging community) who thinks some mangas are really stupid. They don't satisfy my need to get a high-quality reading material. People look at the title, the drawings, then judged the quality of the book. I search for the story.

We both dislike Mermaid Melody (Pitchi Pitchi Pitchi) thus our age, we like SailorMoon. ) Mermaid Melody's artwork is not in our preferences. The storyline is quite OK for me though, so far. Then, she said something about, even though some manga is terrible in artwork, the story is really captivating, so true, I replied.
