My Daily Moo

I'm finally back. I'm still under drug treatment for my thypus, but I'm feeling okay now. And the doctor said, it's okay to work for half of the time I usually spend on campus in the past.

My regular days now are: woke up at 5, sleep again until 8, do some chores and eat my peptic ulcer tablet. At 9, I ate breakfast and take more medicine. After that at 10, I'll go to work. At around 2, I should be home.

My evenings are spend with reading mangas and doing some websites in Angie's computer. My computer's power supply unit was burnt by somekind overload of power supply in one of its transistors.

And I hate that I couldn't eat spicy food or vegetables or pudding. T_T

Masami, can the gathering be postponed until after my next check-up result? It's on Saturday.

Darn, I couldn't import my last layout. Stick with this one please.

Sley, happy birthday!

I know, I'm bad at making entry title. But, who cares? Anyways, yesterday while I'm still finishing my translation for a website, and at the same time re-reading Kurepara, Masami calls. And wow, did it makes me deaf when she screams about Hanakimi.

Others that I haven't told you is, our maid resigns sometime in January. A new maid came after the Hajj Eid (?) and was trained by the landlady for almost a week. But, she was taken two days ago by her sister, because she keeps complaining of chest pain. Her sister was embarrased about the maid inability to work and make her resign. Too bad. She's very young. Only graduated from elementary school and has 10 siblings including her.

My mum came to Surabaya to tend me, but most of the times I have to do errand in the house for her. Lighting up stoves and stuff. But, she did clean my room thoroughly once. ) I shooshed her home to Ambon after more than a week, because I feel I'll have more rest when she's not here. Although, deep down I misses mum badly.

And boy, did I make those phone calls? It wouldn't be surprising that my phone bill alone will cost around 200K this month.

As usual, I'm pretty laid back on back-to-work. This is a worse syndrome. I'm setting this up for my default home in Mozilla Firefox XD So far, I only fix my university main page epicentre picture and edit the teaching staffs collective main page.

The boss said we need to redo the information architecture of our university homepage and content again. I agree and want to do the interaction design as well. I see so many new ideas. Like in Jon Hicks and Douglas Bowman. I wish I have the more-than-minimalist design ability T_T

Two highlights of my weekends are weekly visit to the doctor and gathering with IYFers.

The Doctor Visit

Went with Angki. Angki asked alot of thing about nutrition and my blood sucking nurse. She pushed the needle twice to my arm before she can suck any blood! And we discussed about bra cup sizes as well.

Gathering

Masami was wearing red from head to heel (not toe! XD) Even though Masami insisted that we should be on time, she was late. Neko was on time. I got stuck, so I was late about 15 minutes, not to mention I have to walk to TP 1 from TP 2, went downstairs to Bank Niaga ATM, then went upstairs to Gramedia. I used the elevator as little as possible.

We wait for a couple of minutes, before I went downstairs again to do some shopping in Hero. When I got back they hadn't show up yet. Later when we went inside Gramedia, Sanji, Masami, then Icchan appears one by one.

They comment on my Google t-shirt. How much are you paid to walk like that. Come along with the I'm feeling lucky sign at the back. I didn't got paid for wearing that, besides anybody could buy that t-shirt, but they gave it to me for free. Why not show off? XD

I saw many books I want to buy, but limit myself. I bought an Astrid Lindgren book, Artemis Fowl, Supernova 2.2: Petir (Lightning), and Princess Diaries books: The Princess Present. Comment on this book will be on LJ later. Gramedia is having a 25% sale on comics, anyone want me to look for old mangas, original price is 9500 (around US$1.02)? I'm going there again on Thursday.

We stopped to eat at FoodCourt, my Hanayume was returned, I completely forgot it was mine. As usual, I flipped through Sanji's magazines. Music and seiyuu related. And Neko brought her Moonchild photobook.

At Sogo Bookstore, the JavaBook sale on Japanese-related books are still going. Nakayoshi there is November. I want the October! Cherry Fruit is the cover in October! Gya~~~~! Anyways, I have to limit myself buying any books now, my scholarship ends last semester. *sobs*

And gosh, I am sick and tired of hearing Ariel's voice in every store/shop I walk in to....! He's from peterpan. Peterpan is the most successful band at the end of last year. And their songs are can't-get-it-out-of-my-head type.

I found MG2 economic set for only 83K in Sogo Music Shop, comparing to the first release of 4 episodes in the past for 72K, it's damned cheap. Mars has two sets, which the grand total will be 150K+.

Went to Karisma and found nothing interesting. No chance going to Gunung Agung. I'm very tired.

Where in the world should I be now? Boarding house. But, I'm still here!

I'm browsing APU and ICU's homepage for the last 3 hours and outline an admission page in 4-pages scribbling paper!

Whoa, I mean the admission is a serious business, I just don't know how serious. We're selling something here.

Anyways, I'm very dizzy right now, staring at the monitor without doing any browsing. I'm heading home now!

I'm still not recuperating (Sp?). Last weekend, we went out again to PTC. Me, Santi, and Angi. It took us an hour to reach that place with a public transportation. I dunno, the kids want to give it a try.

We went to eat in Pizza Hut. The result? I got into the WC after midnight. I tell you, it's the ice cream. Fat won't do good for my digesting system, or whatever it was called.

I ate too much. We spend hours there. Then, Olivia came around. She's alot cheerful than I imagine *LOL*. Icchan show up afterwards. I asked her where's your brother. "So, that's where you're going... ", she said. Ha ha ha.

Then we went to the cinema. Debating to see Mas Nunu or Phantom of the Opera. We choose Phantom. And then we split up, Angi and Santi want to shop shop shop.

Our group went to TriMedia. A bookstore owned by Gramedia Group. Comics are on sale for 50% off. I got to flip through the second edition of Akar by Dee. Vol 2.1 of Supernova series. I'm anxious about the publisher comments. It's always different and so funny for every edition. Not the boring ones you use to read.

I didn't buy anything, you know! Yay for me!

Olivia had to eat. And she ate very fast! OMG! Anyway, we were gossiping about someone. XDD

On the movie? Somehow I find it boring, and more because Santi is singing throughout the movie. Our choir had a performance once on Phantom of the Opera songs and she owns the VCD. :p

Yesterday, I didn't show up at work at all, instead I was home completing my project. I'm putting up with a new design for the project because the client wanted me to do that. Well, client is king (or queen), although her/his taste isn't what I expected.

Now, I'm doing some lazy thing. I totally forgot that February will end up in the 28th! I need to sort out my medical records, my bills, telephone bills, newspaper subscription form, arrange my wardrobe again, etc.

I have experience life without undies, and it's not very good! XD
