On my mind.

Hm... docent.. is the correct word for Indonesian word: dosen. Not lecturer nor professor. You see, most teaching staff in Indonesian university is not near a professor level and lecturer is more common to use for those who only dictate his/her opinion to encourage people to follow their needs, not to educate. The meaning of docent is (type define: docent in google) a teacher at some universities.

Pikun, do you know which bemo and buses should I took to catch up with you guys on Sunday? Sorry, I forgot calling you yesterday, I fell asleep.

Hoaehm...

Finally, Tenipuri #1 hit the (news)stands in Indonesia.

I've been boring myself yesterday by borrowing too much books than I could read while at the same time feel very energetic to do something with a certain site. Anyway, I'm pimping myself for a vacancy there, so I won't think I'll tell you where it is. But, some of you might figure where it is. If you do, please give me comment on it.

So, I ended up reading and fall asleep without even touching the computer. That's after I gossiped with Shun-chan. XD

Pak Yo just ask me to be his substitute for this weekend library staff getaway program. I don't have any clean undies XD And yesterday, I was late to be Jie Lily's substitute for an M$ seminar >_<

Silly Jilly

numpang tanya... tenipuri ampe no. brapa y?? klo
kepnjangan kQ aga2 mls beli. mending beli anime nya.
tx

kya ha ha ha...
basically the translation for the email above is... how many volumes tenipuri had so far? if it's too much I'd rather buy the anime... *ROTFL* If (s)he only knows.

Use wallpapers and credit?
That's more silly!

Fira Basuki is brilliant. I'm reading her books recently. Ms. B series actually, and I love it. I will read Pintu, Jendela-jendela, and.. eh, Atap?? I love how the story flows. It kept readers with attention-deficit like me entertained.

*hoaem* I spent all day sorting out my files in the office.

I don't know about elastic website until today. Mozilla.org is one of the example :p

Last week we had a long weekend. Saturday was spent by reading and wash my spareparts. Sunday, I went to Icchan's place for IYF gathering. Which was actually not-so-yaoi, since we're watching Friends instead. Joey's Ichiban commercial is so funny, ne, girls?

I took public transportation on the route to Icchan's. Line BM Bemo to A.Yani Road. Bus to uptown. Line A Bemo to PTC or Pakuwon Trade Center. A shopping mall near Icchan's. Then we ate in PTC's KFC. Icchan and Neko drive to the mall and found us. We went circling the place. I was a spender! Books in Trimedia is so expensive, but it does has extensive collection.

Monday? Sleep! What else? And finished the magazines I borrowed on Friday.

Eye candy

People just love making something out of Google Technology. And thus, this is very bizzare: Google Art Creator. Yet, very creative.

Man, I like Firefox 1. I can see if there's an RSS feed for a page on my right-hand side of the status bar. And also got JavaScript and Styles activation option on the left.

Darn, this site is hurting my eyes. It's beautiful! Especially when I found out it is an elementary school site. Check out the site of people who made them. Man, that's what I call work! Oh, SilverPoint create websites for schools only.

Wow, they embrace standards with style!

Aww... shit, gotta run home now. My left contact lens went their own way.

A gazillion days ago, I wrote these trends on today's web design:

Contrast Colors
Hover/Floating elements on design
Out of place elements in design, mainly pictures
Shades, to create floating effect
Combinations of basic shapes
Lines, really slim lines
Small Icons
Font, small fonts, but not too small
Tabbed Navigation
Slim dotted lines
Round Corners
Gradient
One image manipulated in many ways

Weather.com XML Feed

I was looking at Dunstan Blog the other day. You know the guy whose blog banner is the cartoonish version of a real-time panoramic view from the top of his parent's house according to 90 different weather conditions.

And I think this blog also uses the same tool to view that cool looking weather condition.

I decided to study how to do that for our new tourism page later. It's easy, because it's our programmer's job to extract it, but it is important for me as an information architect to know what it means. Tee hee, let programmers do all the dirty work isn't it right? :p

As what I do yesterday? Swimming with Selvi. Her b'day is tomorrow. Only two hours, but it feels great. The water is pretty dirty, but surprisingly, it doesn't itchy like the last time when it was actually very clean!

Wah...

Happy birthday to Pinky, itemmanis, and Bobby.

Basically, I have nothing to do these days, so probably no more great days as usual. I spent all morning cleaning and re-packing my handouts.

Scribblings

Now, this is a way of we should handle people asking for help and not being nice in a public community. I wish I'm that good with words.

Eve and Mee-a blogs are featured in GetFresh. A local Christian magazine. I hope none of the readers got lost to the IYF link on Eve's site. XD It's dead link anyway. But, what if one gets curious?

The magazine is great, but earlier articles didn't attract me that much, because they had two different opinions on one topic. *shrugs* Different people, different interpretation, I know. But, I seriously hope, they didn't just bring out their personal opinion to the magazine.

What do I do everyday now? Sleep at 10PM. Woke up at 7AM. Went to the library at 9AM. Lunch at 11AM or 12. Went home at 6PM. Borrow something to read. Dinner at 8PM. Read and then sleep again. Exceptions includes: swimming on Thursday afternoon. The library closed at 1PM at Saturday. And I went to church at Sundays. And did nothing at that day besides washing my laundries. This cycle has been going on for weeks. I have to take the first step out of this lazy circle.

I'm reading tens of thousand journals about digital library ^^; And people often asked me what do I actually do in my team on doing webpages. I'm an information architect.

Listen to the radio, anyone? Hardrock FM Surabaya is here.

SPICE radio commercial really sucks. All concerns target to why does guys this and that? Where's the highlight on self-reliance? The ad sounds like women has nothing to do than thinking about guys. I'm not even a right wing feminist or whatever you want to call them.

Local Manga Publisher

Hwaduh, kalo gini caranya, bakalan capek demi sekedar mo buat icon yang lain daripada lain. userinfoivles. From: . Get them here. I change the bold tag to strong.

When I was in TP the other day, I found out Karisma was selling pirated version of Elex's Dragon Voice. Duh! And if it wasn't for the ClingWrap plastic, I wouldn't know how to differ them. It's so alike. Even the paper is better than Elex's. I'd say, Elex better do something about their quality. And did someone notice that Elex's seems to lost their identity lately? The logo is put in the back, no more color line in the cover. Notice that in Dragon Voice and Flash of Wind latest volumes? What about branding?

And what about m&c? When will they put ISBN on mangas? It will be no different to pirated manga don't you think? I know it's not a major concern on readers, but to me, it's the book identity, it's one of the way we can identify a book. Pirated version likes to use Japan's ISBN. It doesn't have to be in the cover or back cover, it can be put in the catalog section, or whatever.

Hmm... *back to do her mini thesis*

Google memang unik

Untuk rekrutmen aja dipasang iklan kayak gini. Gambar yang lebih kecil di sini.

Isi dari iklan tersebut: {first 10-digit prime found in consecutive digits of e}.com

Tapi coba aja diselesaikan kalo emang penasaran. :p
