Hmm..

Won't spoil anything. If you like that squirrel in the Sony Ericsson commercial. They got a website just for you.

Think your table is good looking enough for a layouting webpages? Think again! Which I believe alot of people are doing it. Misusing tables for layouting. *sobs*

I'm still wondering why there still so many selfish people who kept putting 'patience' plaster all over their website. I'll understand if that's because the images. But, I don't have patience for those who uses gazillions of tables and nested tables, like above. >_<# I'm not trying to forced anything or whatsoever, but could you make us (people with physical and technical disabilities) live easier?

I'm reading Harlem Beat. Thank God I don't have to wait. Too lazy. Tenkara Torte #8 is just so funny. A y4oi dialogue was turn into (or was it originally like that? beats me) adegan ketusuk duri. Translate them for me please

This morning I did my house blueprints on PPSI classs, while jotting down notes on everything the lecturer says. I just realize how big it is. The front is mainly used for the shop and store room. Middle part is for living room, my room, and a place to hang our clothes. Then the back part is my bro's room, kitchen and dining room. I'm amazed I can still remember some part, even where our maids store the detergents!! It's too bad, the house is no longer there. Oh, my room is larger than my parents' room XD Even my bro's.

I've been very sick that I have to skip classes on Thursday. It turns out that the first class was cancelled and the second one was great (yay and bummer!) I have a sore throat, feels like something was stabbing my throat from left to right.

Movies...

Bend it like Beckham is a must see! The casts, the storyline and the atmosphere. It's all perfect! See it for yourself. The music is fine. I thought I recognize some faces and when I saw the credit I did. Mel, the captain is Shaznay. And one of the boys that play with the leading heroine in the park is Trey Farley. Channel [V]'s VJ.

And finally, Iron Ladies hit the theatre here. Darn, I couldn't find any entries on this movie. Anyways, I saw the commercial a few years ago. Utt interviewed the casts. He asked the main hero, "How do you feel as a straight guy acting as a gay?" He smiled, touched Utt's thigh and said, "Oh, Utt!" and played sissy. XDD I guess, Utt had a heart attack that very moment.

Oh, and Geread was singing dangdut in Indonesian Idol audition. I missed it, sh~~t! Here's my past blabbing about him in KD show. Feb 21st.

What I do yesterday

Mbak Lusi had her engagement party on Sunday. I tried to locate a warnet to escape the boredom. But, it's closed so I went back to the house.

They sent me some food before 6PM. I was asleep. Besides the thick disgusting cow skin and nothing-to-eat cooked-with-soya-sauce-chicken (no meat on the chicken) and not to forget a-day-old snack, I ate all. Really, if you're not intend to give anything, then don't.

Lidya and Wati arrived from Gresik on Monday afternoon. I was at the warnet until 5 PM and rush home, bathe and went with Lidya to TP.

She's moving to Jakarta on the 8th. We done everything in a hurry. First, as intended, we cut our hair. I want to treat her, then when our hair is being cut, I just realized, I don't bring enough money. XDD I have to borrow from her. That's so embarassing!

Then we went to the ATM, uh-oh, another problem. There was no cash, remembering it's the holidays and all. I took money from BII ATM instead. Then we went to bought tickets for Love Actually. I've been anxious to watch the movie. It was good, naturally. That girl from Bend it like Beckham was also in the movie.

Then we went to the bookstore. Sogo first. There's no May Nakayoshi. They told me it only arrive every two months. >_< And then Gramedia. I tried to locate Kirika and Kanbayashi #8, Harukana #4, and Dragon Voice #4. It was a total mess. I cannot believe Gramedia was such a disaster. Usually, it was so neat. But, yesterday... T_T I have to dig and circle the comic places a few times before I managed two of them. I have to ask for help from the employee for Dragon Voice. He located the book and saw some children reading mangas. Gomen, ne!

After the book thing is finished, we went to buy her luggage case. It's just so funny walking around carrying that bag. Then, went to the food court to eat. The hotplates are heavy! I nearly couldn't take them, if we weren't sitting very close, I swear it's going to fall.

After we ate, Lidya made us the center of the attention of all people present at the food court. She was screaming, dropping half of the water in her bottle, and ran away. It was a rat, a very big rat. XDD All of the people laughed at us. Plus, we were dragging the luggage case around. ^^;

We're late for a couple of minutes. The movie was already started, but it's not a big deal. We sat in row E. After a big laughter, and some curious looks from the 21 employee (due to the suitcase), we went to the exit. XDD TP had closed, and we were confused where to go out.

We finally went out from the Sheraton exit. Ask the valet service to call us a cab. And that's the end.

BTW, the movie is so damned full of stars. Ant and Dec (oh, and why does no one told me that they host World Idol? >_<#). Rowan Atkinson. Hugh Grant. That guy from Bridget Jones' diary. That step son looks like an alien. I like the movie. It's wonderful.

I rented Beyond the Blindfold and six more books of Harlem Beat yesterday. Beyond the Blindfold is such a wonderful story. So beautiful, it touches my heart. I think I'm going to collect them.

I hate (pardon for the I-don't-know-the-real-ones acronym) Kirikan #8!!! Why does they have to censored that kissing scene? >_< Does anyone had that page scanned? Anyways, I fully supported KanbayashixKirika instead of KanbayashixHaruko or YukixKirika or KanbayashixYuki... er wait, sorry that was wrong! :p

Ugh, I have 10 mangas not covered with plastics. I have to buy them soon.

Today's schedule:
- go to the bank (done)
- reload my voucher (done)
- setor muka ke perpus (done)
- work on the translation again, more bonus before the deadline

My notes on 2 b blogged

24.04.04

World Idol host is Ant and Dec! *screaming* You know something? I listen to their 'Eternal Love' while reading Glass Mask for the first time. I didn't read it chronologically, it was in the raining scene. Where Masumi pick her up to his house. *sobs*

I think Jake Thomas (Matt in Lizzie McGuire) is similar to Clay Aiken. :/

Shounen Mag is going to be published in Indo.

25.04.04

RMS' b'day. Bombs in Ambon.

I was talking to Lidya what happens if Indonesia gets into the World Idol show. We have the same flag as Poland!!! Saves a flag today!

Prince of Tennis is going to be published in Indo.

01.05.04

I just watch Stepmom with Julia Roberts in it. I remembered again about my mum riding a horse. :|

Sori....

Yes, I know. I'm sorry for dissapearing again for so long.

Anybody know which one to download and pre-conditions? I'm trying to locate Japanese JAWS for Windows. JAWS is a screen reader. Currently I have English and French JAWS, I used them to read passages that I don't know how to pronounce (tee hee!). With Japanese one... well you know. Help, pikun!

Recently we talks about Marcel. We saw him live in a tv show. So, he's just another studio-polished artist again? *dissapointed*

I took the What happens if you're a Japanese Meme, it's a mess, well for short, I'm a JPop artist. XP

Nicholas Sparks' novels

Recently, I've been reading Harlem Beat and bunch of other stuff, that I forget mostly everything as usual. But, I had the time of my life Anyways, I started reading that series since I like Dragon Voice. And the series itself are wonderful. I notice some facts. Yuriko once lived in the East Coast. Her editor praises her English XDD And she thanked Natsuki Takaya in one of the pages of Harlem Beat.

I finished cleaning my room on Sunday. The previous days was spent on arranging my time to safely escorted Lidya to the airport. I was so sad. Now, no one I can easily talks Ambonese with again. I cried and hugged her. I'm usually emotionless, but couldn't help it. Abang Rizal drop us to the airport, but since we're saying we would stay until her departure he had to go. It feels empty without her.

Anyways, if you notice I'm away again, check the mobile blog.

Busy

Was busy as usual today. I cleaned my room at morning. When I was putting my socks on, a call came from Sulis requesting me to go have the interview for pembimbing in T building ASAP. So, I did and eventually, the interviewer was having another guest. I have to wait for more than half an hour. She gave me some insight on being Christian. We didn't talk too long, because I already an experienced one XD and she had a meeting.

Then, I went to the library. A university from Makassar was visiting, but I cannot gave them tour as a guide, since I've already made appointments with my mates to do the Library Information System preliminary system requirements. T_T

All that went well and so a day pass. I'm here at the cybercafe trying to fulfil my target for my employer. And guess what, I still have a book to read and 3 books to return, one task to complete, and a website to code. *sigh*

News

When I was at the airport, a young guy walking with his friend. No, they're not gay or anything, just that the guy I was talking here was carrying a bag. The funny thing is the bag shape is a.... dog! *ROTFL* Then after awhile he passed the lane again, with a pink bag. I'm not sure if he only dropping his sister or girlfriend or what, but he sure got guts to carry those things around with a proud look, even when we were laughing at him shamelessly *blush*

If you want to travel, besides the ticket fare, you should also check the luggage weight limit, and how much you pay for the overweight luggage! The total cost for Lidya's departure is the same as Garuda's airfare.

I cleaned my 'jungle' in Sunday. Finally, I am able to take care of all that.

I went swimming with Wati on Wednesday, it's the kind of break I needed. As usual only 2-3 people at that specific day and hours. We stayed swimming for 3 hours and bought fried duck for our dinner. The swimming pool is located in Graha Tirta, Makarya, Sidoarjo. It's not in the Surabaya territory, but it's very near. We can reach it by becak for only 5K. The last time I met Wati she asked if we can make the visit to the pool regular. I definetely said yes.

I skip Financial Management at morning, because I haven't finish the job Ico sent me. After that, came LIS. We're starting to be free. We can collect assignments at any time. And we gave a presentation of our current stage of the final project. That's the DFD of our program. It's a mess.

After that, I went downstairs. Ended up buying 20 old comics for only 10% discounts. And I haven't even open the plastic coat until today. Since Pak Yo were taking his yearly break that day, we decided to get wild, by taking lots of pictures. Tirta, Heri and Beby posed for me. If I had time, I will upload the picture of me, Beby, and Heri posing as James Bond and his Bond Girls *sweatdrops* Only one picture of me. I put the calendar Leez gave me at the office. When I take one of Beby's picture it shows the calendar. Have to upload that one too.

I'm so fed up with assignments. I'm only taking 17 credits this semester but it feels like I'm taking 52 credit hours. With all the assignments, projects, weekly journals, etc. etc. Not to mention, Research Method's lecturer had changed his own methodology by giving us a chance to present our 'future' thesis in front of the audience of him and our classmates. Couldn't tell you how nerve-wrecking would that be. I prepared myself by reading PowerSpeak, but I'm not too sure, because I haven't practice. When the class started on Friday, kaboom, my slides and preparations was useless, I didn't volunteer to gave any presentation, but others did, and he pointed out MANY mistakes.

A new parttimer begin to work at the library as the substitute for Ico. We all made fun of him, because he's so queit.

After MetPen, I was working with all boys from my Bank IS group. They were so loud, especially Su and Iwan. But, I appreciate them for cooperating that well, although I have to skip work for that day

Oh, well I still 8 things to do off my to-do-list for today.

I'm so pissed, when I was heading to this cybercafe, a guy came from behind me with a motorcycle and grab my right breast and squeeze it hardly. It hurts me physically and mentally. He's interfering with my emotions. But, I won't let him do that. No one can hurt me. I should forgive him, but who cares. Hope he received his karma in the near future >_<## Such a low-life!

Was SMS-ing with Shun yesterday. He complains about other things but the funniest was, no one would drove him to Inul's concert XD *tepok jidat*

Cyteen

Bart, have you seen Cherryh's website? It also includes her blog.

Recently, I've been bugging Bart with his entry on Cyteen. This is a sci-fi novel by C.J. Cherryh. Originally released as a trilogy. I got my copy of the second volume back in Matahari M-Media in Ambon. The title was Cyteen: the Rebirth.

I want to read the rest....! T_T

Amazon

To those of you who got bored and stressed over browsing Amazon.com. Try Amazon Light. Or version 2 and 3. They're all from kokogiak media. *envy* It makes browsing Amazon.com easier, because less commercial and annoying unnecessary images. And less time on finding the ISBN as well.

Update: It even has Amazon Japan. And Amazon DE and UK. Bookmark!

The author uses the already existing Amazon Webservices.

Latest

I bought 20 old mangas from a bazaar at P building, not the one held by informatics recently, but the one before that. You may notice a testimonial about this on my friendster account. XD

And I got Gals after that. Uhm, reaching vol 5 here in Indo, I like Ran and #1 better and Aya should be with #2.

Glenn Fredly is coming for a charity night in Petra. His first charity night here was in 1999 or so. I saw it. He was so skinny. I think I threw his signature away, because I store them with my letters. Along with Andre's (Hehanusa). And I didn't have a picture with him at that time... *sobs* although someone in PR office took one when I ask for his autograph >_<

I heard rumors that tonight AFI1 concert is live from Malay?

Mum called on thursday and really made me sad. She told me that dad has left the hospital. I don't know he was admitted into one! He had a lung problem. I see that. With all the nicotine and alcohols. :/

I saw Love at Aegean Sea at that day too. Oh, Greece is just so beautiful. I'm going to save up so someday, I'll be able to visit it. And a friend in Europe for her wedding. :p

Lidya left us with a semi nud3 poster of Michael W. Lewis (if I'm not mistaken he's Nafa Urbach's bf.) It's hillarious to see people's face when they open my closet.

I need to buy a new bathing kimono. Recently I bought: WJuliet #1, Rave #12, and The End of Century Prime Minister (Seikimatsu Prime Minister) #2. The last one, I haven't bought vol. 1 :p I'm trying to download Dear Myself with no luck ^^; Still hanging at 14%. Going to try them in warnet later.

Mangas

("that I...")

Seriously, buying lots of mangas in a row like this really kills my pocket. T_T

Glenn concert

This morning is a little free, so I can write some entry. Should I remind you again to subscribe to this blog (under the misc header), to be notified if I have updated the blog. The tool can also be used to subscribe to my mobile blog.

Most of the highlights of this week should be on Tuesday. Went to see 50 first dates in T building. Remember that I didn't know about Lost in Translation? Thank heavens, I didn't this time. The movie is so touching. It's not happy end, but it was a satisfying ending. It's also hillarious but it's naturally funny. Not the slapstick kinda funny. Go and see it.

Then at night, it's time for Glenn Fredly! Yay. I got both Angki and myself VIP tickets, but Beby and the rest of the girls got Class A seats, so we didn't get the chance to enjoy the concert together.

Right next to me are some Chinese girls. Who protesting Stani (my bro's friend who sat near us) and her fangirling mood behind her back but went crazily took some pictures the next minute. :p

The mood of the concert is wrong. They set up a night to party for a charity night. Surely the committe could have made something better than this. At the last time Glenn came here, it was a charity night as well, and they held an auction to sing a song. Not like this.

The result? A lavish set up party with crappy backgrounds, nice sound systems, nice people partying. But, nobody pay attention to the point why the concert exist.

Is it a charity concert or just having fun concert?

Anyways, Glenn is awesome, he opens the night singing 3 songs non-stop! Wow. He has evolved from a shy skinny boy who wears long sleeves to sing 5 years ago here to a communicative guy who wears casuals and still enjoying himself on the stage. Too bad, he didn't sing anything with a piano.

In the other hand the opening act band is so dull. They were late for about more than an hour! Other opening act was a student's activity club (Dance unit, they were terrible!) and a group of break dancers named Scratch. XD Their second act was good, with the glow in the dark stics flowing like water in the darkness.

The MC drag them to the stage later to fill the timeslot while waiting for the worthless late band. They're still young, only the leader is in uni, the others are still in their senior year. One of the MC keep asking about do you have a girlfriend to the members of Scratch.

MC #1: Punya pacar nggak?
Member #4: Nggak?
MC #2: Wah, cewek-cewek mau dong ama [Member #4]?
Audience: Mau...
MC #2: Kalo gak mau sama saya aja! (they're both guys, the MCs XD)
Audience: Hu...
MC #2: Ini kenapa ga punya pacar? Baru putus atau nggak laku?
Member #4: Nggak laku! (*ROTFL*)
MC #2: Wah, si [Member #3] romantis abis, si [Member #4] polos banget! (niru iklan Ponds mini! XD)

The lighting was not OK that night T_T Too bad.

I got home at 9:30 PM.

The next day, I went swimming with Wati and Tanti and Wati's sister. I forgot my swimming goggles >_< I met a couple at the swimming pool. The girl talk to me. She's nice. The guy hit me with one of his foot a couple of times while he was swimming. >_<#

And I hit my head on the way home. Auch!

Hmm..

Read last night: QED #9, Ingenuo #1 (great!), ...er.. forgot already.

Ingenuuo, I don't really like Taiwanese manga, but this one is an exception. But the 2nd volume cover surely are too 'open'. XD
