Mopped ourselves today!

I'm so-not-sober as my alarm clock rang this morning at half past five, when I actually went to bed at half past two. My bedroom looks like a shipwreck. I was doing my research methodology paper because I kept postponing it :p

Beby was already in Hongkong until next week *envious* Speaking of HK, I saw an article today in JawaPos (Jakarta: IndoPos) concerning about Leslie's wax statue unveiled in HK, with pictures and all. The article almost made me cry. T_T

The paper also had commercial about NICE. It's so Japan-ish. Makes my eyes hurt. And Ruben Stoddard (did I spell that correctly?) will appears on Scooby Doo 2. *ROTFL* Lee Wei brought with him the wrong ID card at Taiwan election! So, he couldn't vote that day, instead he gave autographs to some fans at the election site. XDD

It's been a couple of days (or was it weeks?) that some kids from Universitas Airlangga had their field training here. Their major is Library Science. So, yeah. I guess, basically, some people will get confused very often looking at a lot of girls (I don't see any boys!) wearing hijab at our service desk. :p

I called Linda to join me at the old canteen. On my way, I saw a poster about Lost in Translation being screened in T building today! >_<# It's only 4K ($.50)!!!! Shoot! I want to watch it. *grumble* On a brighter note, finally Monalisa Smile is on Surabaya theatres. Now, all we have to do is to watch it. I have a date with Ellen on Sunday :E

My Library IS group had scheduled to go to CCCL again today. After spending a lot of my cell credits, Helen's gasoline cost, and I have to choked on Linda's batagor, we're all set for the journey to Darmokali. Just before we got to Jemur Andayani, that we realized, it's Friday! The CCCL opens at 4 PM! >_<## What a waste of time and resources! XDDD But, we all laugh at it. So, we all prepare for the next Tuesday observation.

I got my period starting yesterday and I have to washed my white trouser. Since all of my pants are laundred, so today I'm wearing that skin thight trousers. ^^; And now I realized there's a hole in my right thigh *blush*

Someone is selling pirated version of 20th Century Boys in Indo >____<

Oh, bitmap fonts.

Err.. Some ramblings.

My period is starting today.

And I reloaded my voucher today.

At morning, I was rushing to my Finance Management class. I wasn't sure it was the right classroom, so when I opened the door, I asked some students what class it is, it's right. When I sat down, Charles spoke from behind, "Pikun ya?" XDD Ivan sat next to me when he arrived. I saw Helen nowhere. I handed my assignment when the lecturer asked them. After the classroom, Helen emerged from the back of the classroom :E She saved two seats for me and Beby, forgetting that Beby was away on a concert.

OMG, cutepdf? XDD The guidelines for digitizing our own thesis includes the installation of CutePDF. A software tool to convert .DOC files to .PDF files.

Finally our digital thesis is accessible online. But, seriously the layout is questionable.

Election Day

It's first round election day in Indonesia. All activities are shut down. It was very quite. People go to vote to different TPS (place to vote). Mine was located in campus, in front of the alley of my boarding house. So, I just went straight ahead, take my number to vote. Went home and sleep a bit. Then went back with Lidya to vote. There were no rooms, instead they had this station of aluminium cube to hide what we vote. The papers to vote is huge in size. No wonder why most people in Indonesia is starved. More money spent for politics instead of nurturing the poor. I don't know each one of the candidates, so I vote what I look at :p

After that, I went home and turn on the TV. Hmm... there's kamen rider project g4 on Indosiar. So I watch that then had lunch and then went to bed.

Whoever choose this ink as the election ink surely is so stupid, the color is disgusting. Oh, yeah, one of our left fingers should be dipped into the ink bottle to indicate that we already vote. And not to re-vote in other TPS.

Uhm..

I am scheduling everything with kronolith, but I'm not sure if I'm going to look at it often ;p

Monster Anime the raw version. Duh... anyone would d/l it for me? I'm trying to d/l it now, but it seems that I have to re-install BitTorrent to this terminal.

Raw Anime. In French. Any links I shouldn't post here?

Oh, and don't forget Friends. *sobs*

Random Thoughts

Tata Young's Sexy Naughty Bitchy PV appears alot in MTV lately. I don't remember where does she come from. Is it Thailand or HK? In my school years, I caught her interview on CNN Asia with uhm, was it Tony Leung or A Bee? And Tony/A Bee was giving his insight that to promote her better she should have a website. "But, I already had one!", she said XDD

The same show also featured Leon Lai once. *singing I was born in Beijing* They asked him in English, but he answered in.. (uhm, was it) Cantonese (or Mandarin?) *deteriorating mind* ..directly, he didn't wait for any translation. I don't know why he didn't use English instead at that time :/

Lidya's birthday is in 4 days. I have alot of gift candidates. The new chicklit book, a wristwatch, a book that I specifically asked whether she wants it for me to buy for her or not.

duit-duit.... oh duit

Sorry, translation soon!

Weekend buat paskah gw nggak ngapa-ngapain.

:E, Bend It Like Beckham (ada berita dia selingkuh loh!), Creedence Gold (don't ask me whose album is this, it's for my dad), and got a free magazine at the cashier :p

(Lame shopping details)

Tontonan di TV

Gw ga tahu bachelor yang di TransTV tuh episode berapa atau season ke berapa. Tapi yang namanya Christi itu menjengkelkan abis!

Tadi ada lihat iklan The Next Joe Millionaire. No charisma like the first one, but okay-lah.

America's Next Top Model udah selesai. :/ Sama sekali tidak menarik.

Reading the Paper

There will be an Adobe Creative Suite training in UK Petra on April 27. No one informed us!

Nip/Tuck is broadcasted in TV7.

There's a crossstitch competition in hobbycraftstudio.com

And don't forget to those who wish to go to Japan, send your essay entrance for the essay competition in Goi Peace website. Last year's winner is an Indonesian. If you don't win, they still send you the entrance certificate and a sticker with that year's theme.

Free for a few hour

Ugh, I finally have some time for myself.

I still have Bend it like Beckham and My Sassy Girl to watch. And I haven't exactly put any plastic cover for either of my new mangas.

....

Duh, I don't remember anything that happened in the past days.

Just that someone ate my bun-from-Leez. >_<

And I finished assignments for SIPus (with my group members) and MetPen. Hurrah!

This is the first morning in weeks that I'm able to wake up early as usual at 5 something AM. =.=

I've read Rave vol 9&10 last night. Also Harutoki 1-3. My Monster Anime episode 1 BT download stopped at 2,7xx KB! >_<# *sobs* When in fact, Pak Yo's Slam Dunk Anime easily downloaded for one night. I have to check the seeds. T_T

Oh, and at 8th of this month, my payments arrived. I was like... "Oh, no, I'm down to 49K for this month at this date... what should I do? Who will I forced to transfer 1K so I can withdraw from the ATM?" Seriously, I AM that broke. So, I went and check my account balance and.... OMG, I never been so shocked! I'm still shocked on the way home. Norak banget yah?

Immediately I called Ellen and Evi and Beby. I want to treat them.

You know, Shun-chan called me when I was girlie shopping (actually, was waiting in line to pay for the items I bought!) I still don't know what to speak with him )

And now, I don't know how I should spend the rest of my paycheck! >_<#

La la la...

Happy b'day tYaS!

It seems that my counter isn't working. So, I'm replacing them with another.

Yahoo! Life Engine ad rocks! It shows you the DNA-look-alike chain. Then it will zoom to show that it wasn't A nor C nor ... er... whatever, but western talking baloons of Yahoo! Life Engine services. Nice!

On Thursday, while we ate at the new canteen, a boy in the table in front of me and some girls on the right-hand side of the table are reading comics. I thought he was reading boyish manga. But then when he laughed, my eyes captured the title. It was 'My Best Friend is My Best Rival'. Is this right? But, anyways, I just couldn't imagine he was enjoying that kind of manga. XD I have a copy of it, shut up!

Shopping Weekend

I'm too sick to write the details of my spending trip on weekends. So, I'm only going to highlight the great ones.

I went with Lidya to TP on Sunday to treat her. We ate at Bentoya. So full. I spend twice as much as my spending trip last weekend. Oh, God, I hate having so much money. It's like a headache that you long for at work so you can skip wrok, but you don't really like it, because it is painful.

And on Monday I went to TP again. Anjie treat us for her birthday today. Happy birthday, dear! Had a small talk with Sanji while eating, I got to know her better XDD Said goodbye to the girls at 4 PM.

I went to see Somethings Gotta Give. Oh, Mas Nunu, he is DAMNED GORGEOUS! I think he's the suitable candidate for dr. Tenma, if a non-hollywood American film of Monster is to be filmed. No, it has nothing to do with him dabbling his mouth over Diane Keaton's. XD

Just before the screening me and the girls were at Gramedia. I saw this absolutely cute bishounen at the manga section. I was blushing heavily when he looked at me and the girls were giggling over me because of my red face.

Oh, anyone haven't got their Harry Potter yet? Gunung Agung is selling them for 50% off. Gawd, what a bargain. But, I decided, I don't want them that badly yesterday.

Stupid Lens

It's the second day I'm wearing contacts again. I picked them up after I watch Somethings Gotta Give in Monday. I didn't open the bottles until I got home, because I was more interested in looking at my new glasses.

The lenses is so damned thin! I could not make it stay in its shape without the solution, I have to struggle just to make it glued to my cornea. >_<

That's no good, but that's how they made contact lenses nowadays. It gets thinner and thinner.

I like my new glasses, it's violet. Warna janda! XD

*looking through the glass wall* I think it's the fourth time I saw Pak Adi explaining something to people whose face with confusion hanging over them. Pak Adi told me about this internship to work on New SPEKTRA's database or something.

I've been re-reading Garasu no Kamen again. I've written that I really like this series, that's not true, I ADORE it! However, why does Masumi had to tell the readers over and over again... eleven years. I think Suzue Miuchi is suitable to be hired as a telenovela writer.

Since Elex wouldn't be available to reprint them, I think I'm going to download them instead. Hiks. It only reaches vol. 7 online.

Ask?

I want everyone who know me to ask me 3 questions, no more, no less. Ask me anything you want. I'll try to answer them

Then I want you to copy and paste this in your journal, allowing your friends to ask you anything.

Wandering when I'm supposed to do something

The scars of whatever-the-causes-that-makes-my-skin-bruises had dried and I'm starting to peel them off. Now, it's on my neck. Someone said to me, "Who did that to you, Phi?" XD

Do anyone know where to find a Japanese screen reader? Currently, I used JAWS as my screen reader. However, the one that can read Japanese hasn't come out yet.

Yu Asagiri official homepage.

Google's Earth Day symbol is so great.

What's bunkoban? Oh, pocket size.

Someone please make Suzue Miuchi work for us! Why does it have to stop there. I want to yell as hard as I could everytime I reach the end of the last story. All here in Indo yet?

Urasawa-sensei short bio.

Wow, banana fish is #1!

GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, Kyo-kun is absolutely adorable! *kicks away Shigure for awhile*

Mizuki-chan and Sano-kun?

Who's this? Furuba chap 90 cover.

Oops, my contract! Have to scan them.

Notes to Seraphan

Seraphan, it's good that you're not underestimate Singaporean's writing skills anymore. A few years ago, a business TV in Singapore review a movie about the life in a boarding house in S'Pore and it's interesting that everyone in the house came from different backgrounds so the movie is multi-lingual but they overcome that multiculture differences and live accordingly. I like that review. And I've seen how creative S'Pore-ans can be.

I don't know the title of the movie up til now. But, there's a scene where people where saying good night in cantonese and there's a guy who doesn't know cantonese complaining, "What's with the 'jo tau'-'jo tau' (read: /jou/ /tau/)? Shut up!" Or.. something like that.

And the canon pics on your webbie reminds me of an old fort I visit during high school in the Banda Island.

I tried to post comments and tag to your blog, but it's hopeless. ~_~

Finish midterm

I've finished all exams for this midterm.

Instead of studying, I went nuts and have alot of fun. My wardrobe closet looks like a mess right now. I haven't made my bed for almost a week. I have stacks of magazines to read, like CosmoGirl!, MTV Trax, Nakayoshi for March and April. Not to mention I also borrowed comics like Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne (it ends), re-read all available Glass of Mask series (and extend it), Baby Love #3 (sucks, but, I want to know the end!), but the most importand and likeable is Dragon Voice XDD Amami Rin is just so funny.

And this past months taught me what it trully means as opening your own door to success. I couldn't be feeling much more alive than ever.

And I saw too many bishie today for a weekend! *my eyes* too many good looking people here CAN make you sick.

Blah!

What would satisfied so-called independence fight for freedom than bombing to show they're serious? So.. so... shallow and narrow mind. When they're actually based in one of the most advanced country in Europe.

Go to Yahoo!News and enter maluku as a keyword. So much for my package and forthcoming holidays. Luckily I haven't send anything nor book any tickets.

Yesterday wasn't so good.

First, the newspapers are already filled with news about Ambon.

Second, around 10 or 11, Pak Yo got a call from his wife, saying that she had an accident.

Third, a young female lecturer crash to our sofa because of her maag around 5 PM.

Fourth, Meiji heard a news from the radio saying that Pak Adi and his wife got into an accident on their way home at 5:50 PM.

While we wait the ambulance for the lecturer, other remaining staff busily called the radio for confirmation on the name of the wife. They said it was Vera. You can never be sure with the spelling because it was audio communication.

The staff called Pak Adi's cell, Kak Veera's cell, we even scrapped to find any information from people who knew them and close to them. No definitive answer. Even Pak Lukas joined in.

At last, after the ambulance came, we all went down still wondering.

At home, I SMS-ed every single library part-timers (past and present) to tell them about the news. Beby called and confirmed about Kak Veera's news. It's just so sad. Nearly two and a half month after their wonderful wedding.

Only Ico, Teguh, Chris, Arie, and Stef responded my SMS. Ico called to ask me how it happened. Teguh called me to ask me whether it's true. Why, you! Chris SMSed something that's not related. Arie already knew and he's on his way to Karang Menjangan. I forgot about Stef, an hour later, I SMSed him and he immediately replied then call me.

I also SMSed friends and families in Ambon. Or other friends that has families in Ambon. Salty's parents, Rizal's mum, Rini's parents and brother, Fu Shen's mum, Yati, Ku Ade are all right. My parents SMSed at the day of the clash broke down. But, I heard no news after that.

I ate like usually, but never that misery. At lunch, I went with Tirta, and Chris later joined us. I pay no attention to the surrounding. If I had, I would've noticed the party that Tirta say hi to was our lecturers. At dinner I ate instant noodles and fried chicken. I might still eat here, but what about my parents and family and friends and their family in Ambon?
