Don't go here!

I will not recommend fateback.com ever again! I won't mind if the banner is 100% semantically standard. But, it isn't!! Horrible... horrible table. And when I'm going to reach the staff, they say bullsh** about the system is already perfect, so there's no email nor contact form there. There is no such system is perfect, especially in the area of Information Technology, you @!#$#@%!

To everybody that I happily recommend fateback.com in the past, I take back every word of it. You shouldn't quote me on that.

Although, I can be a CSS anarchist to that awful banner, but why bother?

MTV Asia 2004 MAA Review

I just saw this one. Still 3 months to my birthday, so I'll have a lot of time to make my wishlist. XDD

I promised myself to write an entry about the this year's MTV Asia VMA. I rewatch it last night, along with the red carpet show, artists hangouts around Singapore and stuff, and behind the show.

They cut off the PussyCat Dolls opening act as usual. :E 5566 presents the first award. My gawd, Sam's hair! Is he Sam or I'm mistaken again? Jase's English is pretty good! The others are fine. Then Machi, Vaness, and A*Mei perform on stage. Then Gareth takes away the Favorite Male. Stacie Orrico performs. Then Sugarbabes. I have re-watch or half re-watch this show for about three times and always managed to see part of A Do's song in the segments where they show us Favorite Artist Singapore. Well, he's younger than what I imagine XDD But, he looks more like a stuntman than what I imagine. (^^; ) Oh, well, the song is nice, either way. Stef Sun wins though :p Not him nor Tanya Chua.

Then came the performance of Bird Tongchai McIntyre. Good gracious, what happened to him? He used to be so cute and now he looks more and more like Tessy!! Tessy is a local comedian here in Indo. What's with the ugly hair? >_<

I watch this third time while watching Panasonic Cinema in MetroTV. Last night was 'Private Benjamin'. It was quite nice. Starring Goldie Hawn. So, I skipped most of the shows and performance.

Then, Gareth and Siti Nurhaliza sang together "Say it isn't so". Nice! Mocca presented the Favorite Artist Thailand for Bird. And Miss M. Carey receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from Blue. :p

Hectic day

My Finance Managerial class finished early, so me, Helen and Beby could rush into my boarding house to pick up the necessary preparation to make burgers for the Library Information System class. We manage to get there on time, but it was the wrong class. We eventually had to move to the original class again. :p

We ate the remaining burgers in P canteen :d And I brought one for Christine in the library. But the one who ate it was Tirta. Chris has ate her lunch.

Hanakimi preview from Amai. See page 12 of the preview chapter... so funny! *still giggling* They finally came up with a good term on that. And this is the actual link.

I bought Pedoman bagi Penerjemah (tYaS!) and Kanbayashi and Kirika Series 7 (sean!) in the Friends of the Library Club Bazaar. Still haven't got time to read those. Got 15% discount for each. They don't gave me the Club discount, grrr! I already working my asses for them in the past semesters.

When I came down to the office, we were hit by this worm. Even my Yahoo account got one.

Reading TIME

Do anyone knows about Japanese Story? Starring Toni Collette and Gotaro Tsunashima. Is it good? Why was it on TIME magazine? Burj Al Arab is the only 7-stars hotel in the world. This is what I got from reading ads in the mag. If I'm not mistaken it was Pauline who asked about this hotel a few months in the past. Ehm, I don't even know there's such thing as a 7-stars hotel. What are the 6-stars hotel? Shah of Iran's Empress Soraya. Hmm... don't know.

There are two entries on Passion of Christ on my friends' page one below the other. XDD

AFI montage

Did I mention about how the e-club appears in the pre-show before the concert? The creative department made a unique story about the suitcases that people in the e-club must take at their elimination day. "No, the suitcase doesn't belong to any stewardess (Ve, Hera, and Yenny), nor a pilot (Romi dressed beautifully as a pilot... with a satpam uniform XDD *gets bricked*), neither a maid on her way home (muncul gambar Latsmi mudik, dengan kostum pembantu :D bahenol abis bo!), nor a porter boy (I was ROTFL at Dicky at this scene! He looks so funny! Kuli pelabuhan). Not exactly belongs to a tourist (Icha), or a ... (forget what Rini poses as)." And finally Smile appears as a thief, complete with his BeetleJuice's like uniform (black and white stripes) to steal Ari Tulang's suitcase. XDDD "No, it doesn't belong to Ari Tulang, either!"

Oh, I'm tired!

What I do these days

I'm sick of watching these words: promotion, campaign, words, etc. etc. This is what you get from translating too many words.

I forgot to watch AFI 1 last concert, Lidya gave me a hint that they told who the person who likes Ve in that show. Can anybody gave me a review of the concert? I was so damn tired translating non-stop for 6 hours, I found myself on bed the next morning, feeling refreshed.

Veri looks very different the next day.

Stupidly, I spend the whole day clearing my phone book (200 contacts), entered them to my computer, then entry each and every one that's important back to my cellphone. That took me 5 hours!

That's the second week in a row I forgot to watch The A Team. I hope I didn't missed the Boy George episode >_<

That also reminds me, I didn't watch the Up, Close and Personal with Veri!!!!!!!!! Please someone tell me about it! At night, I watch this movie. My minds goes uhm.... wandering around. It's about a drug smuggler gets into Turkey's prison. I was so shocked when the warden drag him to the sanatorium to... O__________o

Still blank...

Happy belated birthday, Ajeng! I don't know your LJ username... so I left the message in your blog yesterday :p

Happy birthday, Shun!

Happy birthday, Mia!

Man, I've been so busy. Lots of paper and assignments overdue, and my translation job. I couldn't finished them ontime unless I sacrifice my translation job. So, I did. I emailed my contact person at the company. She receive it well. And put a lot trust on me. As tYaS said, translating is not just a mere job, it's a responsibility (or something like that). I'm bound by my moral duty to communicate the language into my own.

Let's see. There were no Banking IS on Wednesday. And I work overnight to finish the translation and it's only until half past midnight. I can't stay overnight.

Shun's package arrive at Thursday. You know what happen lah, instead of finishing some 40,000 words, I managed to finish reading 4 volumes of Monster XDDD Oops, that reminds me. I should check my vol 16 download. He he he... up to chap 141 now It's a good thing someone pointed me with a place to download, I'm terribly confused on downloading via irc. :p

And today, as I read my friends page came this this from Dhieta

I wake up at 4 AM in Thursday to work on the personal website for my Library IS class. Hadn't finish when I rush to Finance Managerial class. After that, I have to rush back to the library to print our reflection journal and our groups assignment for the Library IS class. I couldn't do any translation. I'm so tired. I finally just sat there and read Monster again....

OMG, I always got scared that someone would stab me in my back when I'm reading that. It sends shivers to my skin and chill down to my bone. Am I exaggerating here?

Besides that anybody saw Bajay Bajuri. Its new season started this March. The first episode featuring Ucup got some guy having a crush on him. And this guy's boyfriend came and threaten to cut his throat if Ucup still with him. XDD In fact, Ucup doesn't even understand about it.

I catch the Bandung representatives episode for AFI2 in its diary.

Just hang in there, DokiDoki!

I'm starting to do assignments for my Research Method class with the title of Submitting Study Plan via SMS. Geh... hope I can come up with something original other than that.

Early in the week, I catch The Newlyweds in MTV featuring Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. The episode tells how they moved in together. I've seen Nick's bachelor apartment before. It was offered in a show called 'Famous Homes and Hideaways' in MetroTV. They (Nick and his brother, member of the same boyband, 98Degrees) clean up and move the stuff themselves. The brother even said something about some stain on the bedcover. Nick just said, "You have a dirty mind!" :D

Jessica complains how neat and dilligent Nick is. "He makes the bed when I'm in it! My mom never make me to made the bed...!" Everyone should be happy to have Nick! XDD Jessica is such a parent's little girl.

And this morning I woke up at three to SMS Shun-chan. Not in my plan, but it seems like everyone who has birthday this month (excluding Beby), I SMSed them at 3! XDD

I will have a General Lecture class in an hour.

Currently feeling: drowsy

Weekend treat

Good Monster site, non-English though! XD. Monster Translation

From Reishi: Harry Potter, the eight book?

I just read Donita's struggle in search for her soulmate in God. It's touchy, so touchy and unexpectable. However, I don't understand some words like: maladi, matapuhin, pala, puwedeng, we can't kiss na nga e, saying na I was laos na. Reishi, could you translate them for me if you read this, please? The link courtesy of Eveana.

This workstation doesn't have any foreign language pack and so slow, I cannot translate Shun's entry.

I got out from the classroom at half past two. Rush into the lame taxi place. There were no good ones, because of the rain. I jump onto a taxi that played dangdut non-stop.

After a lot of struggle and an extra cost of the normal fare, I arrived at Tunjungan Plaza. Since, I was reading Monster, I got scared off easily. Salty and her husband was in Nescafe cafe.

Read one of the site that was listed when I look for Monster Anime info. From: ANN. Dah, it's useless, using this computer.

Back to the topic. We chatted. She introduced me to her husband. She was wearing hijab. Finally! XDD She's still as loud as ever. I feel worry we negleting her husband.

After that, we went to the her hotel from the plaza with a cab. She told me, that she SMSed me when she arrived in airport on the 10th. Her SMS was: I stayed in Garden Palace Hotel room 14xx. I thought at that time, that place sounds familiar.

When we arrive, it does. It's the place we all ate dim sum after our project for Internet and Intranet class. The big bouquet of roses is still there.

After she had her Asar and Magrib prayers, we stroll down the lane behind the hotel and went to Plaza Surabaya. I meant to stay in the hotel room, but she wanted me to show her places to shop.

We got bored after 5 minutes in the plaza and decided to call a cab and went to Galaxy Mall. And we stroll there and having fun. The small amount of hershey's choco we bought was much more expensive than the dinner we ate XDD I love the hershey choco, but I think it's cheaper to buy them at Hero.

And my, isn't she's a spender! She likes shopping so much. She told me about her car and the accidents she had. I laughed like I've always been with her in the past. And felt very angry when she told me that the officers in the driver license office told her to open her hijab to take pictures for the driver license, she's just laughed at that.

Avatar Maker!

We take a cab back to the hotel. I dropped her off and she gave me the taxi fare. She already did gave me, but hey, it's my best friend. I would feel uneased, if she's just a friend.

When I arrived home, I watch the Next Top Models of America. The one that got eliminates is a lesbian. I would rather see Giselle eliminated though. Took a bathe afterwards, then called Shun-chan. Then reading more volumes of Monster until I realized it's already 1 AM and I got morning class today!

Finishing Monster

I'm so stupid! I didn't save the Monster translation for volumes 16-17, only the early parts of volume 18. So stupid of me! *bangs herself* I couldn't take scanlations for volumes 16 home because the computer who had a CD burner was locked inside the automation room. And my diskette wouldn't be sufficient enough.

One thing that I found odd reading this story was.. why does foreigner had a Japanese body language? How they grip their palms and had a straight arm when they standing. How they grip their palms on their tigh when their sitting angry.

*SPOILER* And my guess was it was Nina who has been taken and the one who was standing with an eerie stare when she was back was actually Johan.

Today's journey

Good Map site of Indonesia. However the sites are not clearly defined, but most of the streets here. Ambon map don't have the ones with my home in it, though.

Yet, another day of a good lecture class. He talks about motivation. Seriously funny guy he is. Makes my mind focusing on work today XD I've finished looking at what's left to do for the new PCU site.

I made some customized friends links to my LJ account, but you won't be able to see it even after you click the link. XD Still not sure, I think I'm going to make some of them public.

I joined a lot of communities this afternoon... XD

I really think I must go home now.

Godaan Setan

God, I thought I really needed a break from this hectic life. And went to my torture doomsday.

A couple of Japanese illustrations here are great. Take a look, or should I say a lot of look! Kinda refreshing for you to see them.

Then, How to make that tab button image. Very cool! Hail buttons.

And remember that stupid ad on Microsoft FrontPage 2003 that I posted a while ago, Dora? Here's the fix. The <b> tag is probably okay, but... don't know.

CSS Menus that works in IE 6!

Can't believe the NZ Idol had their own blog! BTW, do anybody know who is that Guy Sebastian?

Feast your eyes.

I've seen this one before. Oh.. wow! My eyes!

Good, God! Please help me this is so slow!

Stopping by

Grr... after making me wait for 5 days for my salary to be transfered, I just found out now that my academic position hasn't been upgraded. That means my salary is lower than it's supposed to be >_<

Plus, I got told that there is going to be a notice of false fire alarm today, and when that happens, people will start panicking. That's a good sight to look for, except there will be small riots I'm sure.

I'm working on my class assignments today. No one show up for work, so basically I'm alone, except for that occasional borrowing of our terminals by certain people.
